Helen Brewer Coltrane, 89, of Archdale, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Randolph Hospice House.

Born May 9, 1928, in High Falls, she was the daughter of the late Everette Brewer and the late Lola Williams Brewer. Mrs. Coltrane was a homemaker who always put her family first. She was a loving, caring, and giving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Craig Coltrane and wife Cathy of Archdale, Brenda Fields of Lexington, and Lisa Spencer of Archdale; special friend, Velma Hall; grandchildren, Jamie, Rodney, Brent, Chris, Jason, and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Cameron, Brett, Chase, Clay, Lydia, Cara, Jacob, McKenzie, Macyn and Kayla; great-great grandchildren, Carson and Gracen.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Coltrane; daughter, Linda Miller; brother, Bill Brewer; and great-grandson, Dylan Horne.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 16, 2017, at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Mabe officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
