Harry Max Shoe, 87, of High Point, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born December 3, 1928 in Stanley County, he was a son of the late Oscar D. Shoe and the late Lenna Efrid Shoe. Mr. Shoe was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was retired from American Furniture Association in 1993. He was a member of Green Street Baptist Church, the Marvin Maynard Sunday School Class, the High Point Lions Club and he loved singing in the choir.

Mr. Shoe is survived by his wife, Ruth Molkers Shoe of the home; sons, Max Shoe of High Point and Bill Shoe and wife Donna of Trinity; grandsons, Casey Shoe and Brady Shoe.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, October 31, 2016 at Green Street Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Hensley officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Garden Park Mausoleum with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM Monday prior to the service at the church.
