Harry Green, Jr.

Harry Albert “Al” Green, Jr., 83, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at High Point Medical Center.

Born November 12, 1940, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Harry A. Green, Sr. and the late Violet Nichols Green.  Al worked as a substation supervisor for Duke Energy where he retired.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner.

He is survived by his wife Alice “Faye” Green of the home; son, Kelly Green of Wilmington; daughter, Renee Finley (Leon) of Charleston, SC; brother, Steve Green (Joyce) of Fort Lawn, SC; sisters, Mary Nichols of Clover, SC and Barbara Burgess of Columbia, SC; and his precious pets, Prissy and JJ.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point with Pastor Norman Weeks officiating.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
