HARRIET PATTERSON McCALL

March 20, 1926 - October 21, 2021

Harrriet Patterson McCall of High Point, North Carolina, died peacefully the morning of October 21, 2021. She loved fishing and was an avid gardener as well as a recognized expert flower show judge in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Harriet was born March 20, 1926 in Birmingham, Alabama to her parents Marie Patterson Pair and James Spiro Patterson.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen McCall Tucker and her husband,  Timothy Tucker,  her son Thomas Hampton McCall and his wife, Rita; Grandchildren including Heather Tucker Ward and husband William, Hugh McCall and Rachel McCall; great-grandchildren Harper McCall, Hudson McCall, Abigail Ward and Caleb Ward, Nieces Linda Andrews House, Mary Ann Johnson, Polly McCall, Jennifer Jenkins and Elizabeth Brown; Nephews Michael McCall, Hank Brown; as well as numerous great nephews, nieces and cousins, and numerous members of the Randolph family that were dearly loved by Harriet.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hugh McCall, her sister Katherine Andrews and her brother-in-law Calvin Andrews, brother-in-law Bill McCall and sister-in-law Bobbie McCall,  sister-in-law Mary McCall Brown and brother-in-law Henry Brown.

A celebration of life will be held in Homewood, Alabama to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to Hospice of the Piedmont in the name of Harriet Patterson McCall. See info and link below.
