Harold Eddie Ray Bishop, 76, of Archdale, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at his home.

Born August 27, 1941, in Elizabeth, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Worley Bishop and the late Marty Jordan Bishop. Mr. Bishop was a US Army veteran and a retired painting crew supervisor at Furniture Land South.

He is survived by his love, Kathy Hyatt of the home; sons, Kenny Bishop and wife Maranda of High Point, and Eddie Ray Bishop, Jr. of the Bahamas; sister, Joann Bishop Carver and husband Harold; brothers, Jimmy Bishop, and Kenneth Bishop and wife Linda; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Lynn Bishop and Ishmael Bishop; and sister, Evbene Bishop.
