G.T. Younger

George Thomas “G.T.” Younger, 68, of Trinity, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born January 2, 1953, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late William Younger, Jr. and the late Edna Butcher Younger. G.T. retired from Thomas Built Buses with fifty years of service, and he lived his life for his family.

He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Sharon Tyree Younger of the home; children, George Mastrogianakis and wife Sara of Stokesdale, Angela Mastrogianakis of High Point, Greg Younger of Trinity, and Cole Younger and wife Karen of Thomasville; brothers, Bill Younger, and James Younger and wife Wanda all of Trinity; sister, Loretta Younger of Trinity; grandchildren, Joshua, James, Tyler, Koby, Jessi, Jacob, Samuel, and Ashton; great-grandchildren, Tristan, and Ellie.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. David Perry officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
