Grover Franklin Williams

Grover Franklin Williams, 89, of Mount Vernon, OH, formerly Thomasville, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Crystal Care Center in Ashland, OH.

He was born December 6, 1935, in Davidson County, NC to the late Clayton Foster Williams and the late Mary Katherine Myers Williams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Terry Williams, and his sisters Peggy Williams Waddell and Virginia Williams Brown, and his brothers, Joe Neil Williams, Bobby Williams and David Williams.

Mr. Williams served his country with great pride in the United States Navy and later became a truck driver.

Left to cherish his memory, his son, Ed Williams and wife Heather of Ashland, OH; daughter, Cindy Noble of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with his son Ed officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
