Greg Hicks

Gregory “Greg” Wayne Hicks, 64, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, at his home.

Born November 13, 1958, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late J.R. Cletus Hicks and the late Janie Kinley Hicks. Greg was self-employed and of the Wesleyan faith.

He is survived by his wife, Joanna Nifong Hicks, of the home; sons, Gabriel Hicks and wife Stacy of Thomasville, Joshua Hicks of Lewisville, and Steven Hicks and wife Casey of Lexington; daughter, Marie Hicks of Thomasville; grandchildren, Rayne Hicks, Alec Hicks, Victoria Hicks, Abby Hicks, Ayla Hicks, and Amara Hicks.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Douglas Hicks, Randy Hicks, and Jeff Hicks.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, October 20, 2023, in the Archdale Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Thursday at Wright Funerals-Cremations, Archdale.
