Glenda Elizabeth Spinks, 69, of High Point, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at her home.
Born November 20, 1955, in Siler City, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Sam Roscoe Spinks and the late Dorothy Headen Spinks. Glenda worked as a spinner for textile mills. She was a hardworker and a great mother who provided much encouragement. Glenda’s family says she was the glue that held the family together.
She is survived by a son, Tito Dark of High Point; daughter, Brandi Johnson (Timothy) of High Point; brothers, Roger Spinks, Michael Spinks, and Joseph Spinks all of Ramseur; sister, Cheryl Spinks of Ramseur; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother, Edward Spinks.
