Glenda Ann Meindl, 66, of High Point, North Carolina passed away on March 6, 2020 in Greensboro.

Glenda was born in High Point, North Carolina to John and Opal Causey on June 26, 1953 and was a lifelong resident to the area.  She graduated from High Point Central High School and received her Associates degree from Guilford Technical Community College.  She was a Christian believer and attended Shining Light Baptist Church.  Glenda spent 30 years as a waitress at Libby Hill Seafood and thought of them as her second family.  Her first and most important job, though, was mom.  She was always so involved in her children’s lives, volunteering and showing up at their schools, any chance she got.  Glenda is described by her children as “amazing” and “rock star mom”.  When she became a grandparent, Glenda’s love and commitment to family was extended to them. She loved each one of her grandchildren.  Her brothers, sister, nieces and nephews also held a special place in her heart.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents John and Opal Causey and a grandson, John Michael Meindl.

Glenda is survived by her son Robert Meindl and wife Christy; daughter Emily Garris and husband Jonathan; brothers John Causey and wife Gloria, Mike Causey and wife Cindy; sister Amy Martin and husband Johnny; and grandchildren Courtney, Addy, Anna, Emma, Jessy, Layla, and Jeremia

The Memorial Service has been postponed to a later date. The Family will update everyone when it is rescheduled.
