Ginny White passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Her son and daughter-in-law were at her side. Ginny grew up in Burlington, NC and lived most of her life in Greensboro until moving to River Landing at Sandy Ridge in Colfax.

Ginny was a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church in Greensboro where she was a devoted member of the choir and soprano soloist. She is past president of the Greensboro Lecture League and was a member of the Greensboro Symphony Guild and the Greensboro Euterpe Music Club.

Ginny was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Self Williamson, and her husband Robert C. White. She is survived by her son Chip Self and daughter-in-law Mandy Self, both of Salt Lake City, her stepsons Carlton White (Susan) of Durham, Charlie White (Denise) of Milwaukee, and Jimmy White (Bonnie) of Raleigh, and stepdaughter Lucy White Pless of Hillsborough. She has five grandchildren: Michael White, Lauren Steele, Caroline Pless, Dee Dee Pless and Helen White.

There will be a family graveside service.
