Gerald Dean Hyder

Mr. Gerald Dean Hyder, 66, of High Point died Sunday May 29, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Mr. Hyder was born in Hendersonville, NC the son of Wison and Edna Williams Hyder. He was retired from Kaylynn after nineteen and one half years of service. He was of the Wesleyan faith. He was married for thirty years to Nancy Hooper Hyder and she survives of the home.

Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter, Tracy Brown of High Point; two brothers, Wayne Hyder and wife Ann of Archdale; Charles Hyder and wife Jo Ann; of High Point; one sister, Frances of High Point; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hyder of Archdale; one grandson, Pete Brown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Hyder.

The family will receive friends at Wright Cremation and Funeral Service at 1726 Westchester Dr. Tuesday from 6 until 7:30 PM.
