George Gary Lawrence

George Gary Lawrence, 83, of Winston Salem, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at his home.

Born January 3, 1942, in Salisbury, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Samuel Arthur Lawrence and the late Sarah Elizabeth Meechum Lawrence.  George was a electronic technician for Lock Fabrication and a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He loved to fish, liked going to the beach, and enjoyed working in the yard and on house projects.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Joan Lawrence of the home; sons, George Gary Lawrence, Jr of the home, Arthur Christopher Lawrence (Jessica) of Fort Mill, SC, and Sean Anthony Lawrence (Charlotte) of High Point; and grandchildren, Ayden Lawrence, Jackson Lawrence, Silas Lawrence, and Remington Lawrence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
