George Browne Johnston, Jr., 79, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, in the Hospice Home of High Point.
Born May 16, 1947, in Augusta, GA., he was a son of the late George Browne Johnston and the late Hazel Bryant Johnston.
He is survived by his sisters, Amy Ingram and husband Hal, and Sara Johnston; nephew, Hal Ingram III and wife Kelly; and great nephews, I.V. Ingram and Johnston Ingram.
No formal services are scheduled at this time.
