Gayle Jewel Byrum Fleming, 72, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born February 15, 1946, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late George Byrum and the late Myrtle Talbert Byrum. Mrs. Fleming was a retired hairdresser and attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Brad Fleming of High Point; brothers, George Byrum and wife Janie of Thomasville, and Danny Byrum of High Point; sisters, Iris Boswell and Marla Tiller both of High Point; and grandson, Blake Fleming.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Albert Fleming, Jr. in 2016; and a sister, Linda Clifton.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
