Donna Gail Friddle Rozier Poplin

Donna ‘Gail’ Friddle Rozier Poplin, 68, of Clodfelter Rd., passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Born April 7, 1948 in Stokesdale, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Edward Friddle and the late Mable Nelson Slate. Mrs. Poplin retired from Adams Wood Turning after thirty-six years of service. Gail, “Momma,” “Grandma Gail,” or “Mammaw” was loved by many and loved many.  She gave anything she could to anyone who asked and she will be dearly missed by all.  Heaven has received a true angel on this day. May she rest in peace.

She is survived by her sons, Jack Rozier, Jr, of Thomasville and Dwayne Rozier, of Sophia; daughters, Tamera Fitzgerald and Jamie Poplin both of Lynchburg, VA, and their spouses or significant others; sisters, Kay Hopper and husband Junior of Madison, and Annette Friddle of Thomasville; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the home of Dwayne Rozier, 5836  Branson Davis Road, Sophia.
