Freddy Driggers

Fredrick Eugene “Freddy” Driggers, 78, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Westchester Harbour.

Born December 25, 1946, in High Point, he was a son of the late Talmadge Laverne Driggers and the late Pauline Edwards Driggers. 

Freddy was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam and was retired from North State Telephone with thirty-five years of service. He was a member of Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting.

Freddy is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Janice Freeman Driggers of High Point; son, Brian Driggers and wife Renee of Trinity; daughter, Kelly Gregory and husband Nick of Raleigh; brother, Roger Driggers and wife Joan of Jamestown; grandchildren, Dylan Stasko and wife Kaitlyn, Katie Peters and husband Ellzie, Abby Gregory, and Lance Driggers; and great-grandson, Caden Stasko.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 31, 2025, in the Archdale Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Mark Mosley officiating. Inurnment will be in the Poplar Ridge Columbarium at a later date.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
