Fred Allen Peele

Fred Allen Peele, 86, of High Point, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at Atrium Health High Point Medical Center.

Born October 28, 1939, in Surry county to the late Troy McCann Peele and the late Violet O’Neal Peele.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Spurgeon Peele; son, Tony Peele and wife Lee Ann of Cherry Grove Beach, SC; daughters, Terri Dailey of High Point and Sandy Shuler (Travis) of Thomasville, NC; sisters, Ruth Chapman and Irene Armentrout; sister in law, Shirley Peele; grandchildren, Richard Johnson ( Lindsey), Jessica Bentley (Chris), Lauren Gregg (Brian); and great grandchildren, Zayden Johnson, Collis Bentley and Eli Gregg.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM Friday, July 26, 2026, at Oak Hill Friends Church, 2001 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Hill Friends Church.
