Franklin Daniel Gill, 83, of Thomasville, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019, at Curis of Thomasville.

Born June 28, 1935, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late Charles Gill, Sr. and the late Rachel McCauley Gill.

Mr. Gill is survived by his sons, Vurgess Gill and wife Teresa of Trinity, Brent Gill and wife Natasha of Greensboro, and Jeffrey Gill and wife Tracy of Thomasville; brother, Charlie A. Gill, Jr. and wife Mary of Fayetteville; sisters, Dorothy Borders, Carolyn Tillman, and Priscilla Fant all of Thomasville, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 11, 2019, in the gathering room of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

The family will receive friends following the service.
