Herbert (Frankie) Franklin Ross, 73, of High Point, went to Heaven, Sunday, March 18, 2018.

Born October 1, 1944, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late John Herbert Ross and the late Martha Kestler Ross. Mr. Ross was a minister, a creative photographer, and professional upholsterer with Stickley Furniture. He was a 2nd-degree black belt in American Ninjutsu, and a member of Trindale Community Church.

He is survived by his wife Dixie Sue Brady Ross of the home; son, Herbert Timothy Ross and wife Amy of High Point; daughters, Renee Gibbons and husband Terry of Sophia, and Suzy (Sue) Suggs and husband Rodney of Trinity; sisters, Sandra Patton and husband Gregg of High Point, and Jean Ann Perdue and husband Rev. Steve Perdue of OK; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Trindale Community Church with Rev. Ottis Collins, Rev. Johnny Cox, and Rev. Carlton Brinson officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Seagrove.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service at the church.
