Frank Whitlock Williamson, Jr

Frank Whitlock Williamson, Jr. 77, of Climax, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born April 10, 1945, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Frank Whitlock Williamson, Sr and the late Martha Barnes Williamson.  Frank worked for the United States Postal Service and was a member of Allendale Baptist Church.

Frank was blessed with natural musical ability and could play multiple instruments, including the piano, saxophone, guitar, and harmonica. In his free time, he was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Williamson of the home; son, John Williamson (Keri); stepsons, Danny Welborn (Theresa) and John Welborn, Jr; daughter, Jennifer Furr (Carl); stepdaughter, Kathy Holloway (Tim); sister, Joan Simpson; five grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2023, at New Garden Cemetery with Rev. David Younger officiating.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
