Frank Parker

Howard Franklin “Frank” Parker, Jr., 91, of Thomasville, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the Hospice Home of High Point.

He was born November 22, 1933, in Surry County, to the late Howard Franklin Parker, Sr., and to the late Thelma Bledsoe Parker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Stephen Thomas Parker, son-in-law, Michael Smith; brother, H.C. Parker; and his sister, Bobbie Jean Lankford.

Frank served in the United States Air Force from February 1, 1956, until January 30, 1960, serving on the 551st Installations Squadron. He was a member of Green Street Baptist Church. He married the former Aline Hester on April 28, 1957.

Left to cherish his memory; his beloved wife, Aline Parker of the home; daughters, Stephanie Parker Smith of Trinity and Sonya Parker Sauls of Edgewater, MD; grandchildren, Adam Smith (Kimi), Nicholas Smith (Brittany), Gabrielle Baillargeon (Jeff), Garrett Sauls and Grant Sauls; great grandchildren, Silas Smith, Keilah Smith, Miriam Smith, Amelia Smith, Josiah Smith, Soloman Smith, Colt Baillargeon, and Molly Baillargeon; sister, Bonnie Davis, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life service will be 4:00PM Thursday, July 24, 2025, in the sanctuary of Green Street Baptist Church with the Reverend Doctor Jeff Dowdy and the Reverend Mark Loy officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
