Frank D Myers

"Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant", Frank Dean Myers, 102 ½ , of Archdale, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026, at his home.

Born March 16, 1924, in Wilkes County; he was a son of the late James Worth Myers, and the late Ella Lou Inscore.

Mr. Myers served in the United States Army / Air Force during WWII. He was an upholsterer for Thayer Coggins and was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church. He loved spending time with family, church friends, and his sidekick, Ollie Grey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Cleo Rush Myers; son-in-law, Junior Turney; brother, Paul Myers (Nora Lee); sisters, Doris Moring (Bernard), Dell Fritts (Jimmy), Betty Murphy (Jack), Lee Harbinson (Charles), Faye Payne, and Crystal Daniels; mother-in-law, Effie Kinley Rush; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hollingsworth, Norman Zimmerman, Cecil Rush, Ermon Rush (Donna), Kenneth Rush (Patsy), Harold Rush (Jackie), Elmer George, and Don Royals;  sisters-in-law, Paraleigh Welborn (Clyde) and Peggy Mitchell (Harold).

Those left to cherish his memory; his daughters Judi Turney of Archdale, and Cyndi Jacobson (Ken) of Raleigh; grandson, Chad Myers Turney (Olga); great grandchildren, Chase Turney (Morgan), Mackenzie Turney and Alexander Turney; sisters, Gerry Hollingsworth, and Fran Zimmerman; brother-in-law, Dwight Payne; sisters-in-law, Ann Royals Poarch, and Mary Lou George; and his loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a sincere appreciation to the excellent care given to him throughout the years, especially Brittany Palmer and Erin Colon’ until the end.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 27, 2026, in the sanctuary of Faith Baptist Church; 5744 Mendenhall Rd, Archdale, NC; with the Reverend Mickey Briles officiating.

Burial will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM, prior to the service.
