Frances Ruth (Reynolds) Ball

Frances Ruth Reynolds Ball, 83, of Thomasville, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.

Born October 2, 1941, in Hallsboro, NC, she was a daughter to the late Woodrow Reynolds and the late Mary Rhodes Reynolds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Reynolds and James Reynolds.

An avid gardener, Frances found joy in nurturing plants, creating vibrant colors around her home. She was a talented clogger and dancer, moving with such grace and enthusiasm. She had a passion for wood framing and a healthy and active lifestyle. She was the best cook, whether it was a family recipe or a new dish, every meal was made with love.

Frances was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Thomasville.

Left to cherish her memory; her beloved husband, Doug Ball; daughters, Angela Shores, Pamela Elder and husband Ronald, Susan Wright and husband Michael, and Mary Soles; stepdaughters, Kelly Ball Moore and husband Rob and Marti Ball Kendrick and husband Junior; grandchildren, Stephanie Shaw (Ryan), Corey Shores (Taylor), Kelsey Maybell (Dionte), and Jake Shores; and her great grandchildren, Eli Shaw, Lillie Shaw, Heath Shores, Autumn Maybell, Aubrey Shores, and Baylor Maybell.

Celebration of Life service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church; 902 Mendenhall St, Thomasville, NC 27360; with the Reverend Craig Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45PM prior to the service.
