Frances Pauline Helmstetler, 77, of Lexington, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Hospice Home at High Point.
Born March 28, 1947, in High Point, she was a daughter of the late Elmer Floyd Helmstetler and the late Ruth Flippin Helmstetler. Frances was a retired sewer with Henredon Furniture, and she loved the beach which was her happy place. She lived life to the fullest, loved all her family and her favorite phrase was “Praise Jesus!”
Frances is survived by her son, Eddie Lackey (Sherry Cook); daughters, Melinda Lackey, Connie Jolly and Wendy Lackey; brothers, Delmer Helmstetler and Harold Helmstetler; sisters, Peggy Barber and Tammy Robertson; grandchildren, Nicholas Freeman, Cassie Jolly, Tamber Jolly, Makensie Lackey, Caleb Parrish, Noah Lackey and Trey Lackey; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Zachary, Brice, and Braden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Alford Lackey; sisters, Shirley Gallup, and Pat Vanhoy.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, July 1, 2024, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Tim Miller officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
