Frances Lambeth Childress, 72, of High Point, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Shannon Gray Nursing Center.

Born February 21, 1945, in Lenoir, NC, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Julius Lambeth and the late Shirley Cox Lambeth. Mrs. Childress was a retired knitter and a member of Jesus Way House of Prayer.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Wayne Childress of the home; son, Ronald Bevans and wife Kimberly of Archdale; daughter, Brenda Barbour and husband Eric of Mebane; brother, Melvin Lambeth and wife Faye of Thomasville, and David Lambeth of Christiansburg, VA; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
