Florence Essie (Scott) Moore

Florence Essie Scott Moore, 83, of Trinity, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, at her home.

Born January 5, 1940, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Fred Scott, Sr. and the late Grace Irene Vetito Scott. Florence was a retired bookkeeper and adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Kevin Moore of Trinity; daughter, Joetta Canaan and husband Dave of Charlotte; sister, Reva Willett of Greensboro; grandchildren, Logan and Jackson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Cecil Fred Scott, Jr., and sister, Etta Jean Reynolds.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Mr. Dave Canaan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Wright Funerals-Cremations, Archdale.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont or the American Cancer Society.
