Faye (Johnson) Collins

Bertha “Faye” Johnson Collins, 77, of Thomasville, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Hospice House of Davidson County.

Born October 14, 1947, in Wyoming County, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Johnson and the late Neva West Johnson. Faye loved Jesus and was a Christian woman. She loved gardening and birds.  Most of all, she loved her grandkids and was a great cook.  She never met a stranger and loved to meet and talk with people.

She is survived by her son, James Jacobs of Johnson City, TN; daughter, Candy Pierce and husband Stephen of Lexington; grandchildren, Ben Jacobs and Abby Jacobs, both of Johnson City TN, Olivia Pierce and Nathanial Pierce, both of Lexington; and her special dog, Coco. She was one of seventeen brothers and sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Daniel Collins.
