Ernie Davis

Ernest Davis, 74, of Archdale, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born July 11, 1947, in Guilford County, he was the son of the late Catherine Mary Lepper Hicks. Ernie worked for Borden Dairy for twenty-five years, Hunter Farms for ten years, and five years with Deer Hitachi in Kernersville. He retired in 2006.

Ernie is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Donna Burgess Davis; daughter, Tonya La-Bor and husband Mike of Wilmington, NC; son, Matthew Ernest Davis of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sister-in-law, Bonna Wilkins of Ormond Beach, FL; brother, Bob Burgess and wife Alicia; niece-in-law, Andera Burgess of Asheville; cousins, Deloris Griffey of Glenola, and Luna Lane of Fairfax, VA.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, April 25, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point with Pastor Steve Jarvis and Pastor Morris Little officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
