Eric Matthew Truesdale, 28 years old of Thomasville, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018, at his home.

Born April 6, 1989, in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of Paula Gallis Truesdale of Thomasville.  Eric graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS in mathematics and was a product engineer with Tempur Sealy Mattress Company.

Eric was a fun loving, caring, generous, funny, and hardworking young man who adored his dog Ace.  He touched the hearts of everyone he met with his infectious laughter and smile.  He was the North Carolina Panthers biggest fan and always wore his superstitious game day outfit with his silly rituals.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Sarah Barry of Thomasville; grandparents, Martin and Geraldine Gallis of Stump Creek, PA; aunts, Tammy Gallis Sillmon and husband Tim of Supply, NC, Marlene Gallis Zimmerman and husband David of Elizabethtown, KY, Catherine Gallis of Greensboro NC, and Barbara Gallis of Raleigh NC, Nieces, Lorelei and Lyssiana Barry; seven first cousins, Mark, Matthew, A.J., Alexa, Cailley, Kyle, and Abigail.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, February 16, 2018, in Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Services with Rev, C.W. Moss officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
