Eric Wayne Mcintyre

Eric Wayne McIntyre, 41, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at Atrium Health University City Hospital in Charlotte.

Born July 26, 1981, in Forsyth County, he was a son of the late Donna Lockemy McIntyre and Darell McIntyre (Diann) of Hubert, NC. Eric had many interests which include, drawing, fishing, video games, and automotive repair. He loved spending time with his family and friends and time at the beach.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Nicholas “Nic” Spivey; girlfriend Heather Martin; half-sisters, Ashley, and Morgan; and many other family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy McIntyre.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

The family will receive friends following the service.
