Emma Jean Myers

Emma Jean Myers, 87, of High Point, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at her home.

Born November 13, 1938, in Davidson County, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Roosevelt Johnson and the late Mary Kay Sink.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne David Myers.

Mrs. Myers is survived by her sons, Tim Myers and wife Lisa of Wallburg, and David Myers and wife Kim of High Point; grandchildren, Timothy Myers, II and wife Erica, Kellen Myers, Caroline Burgess, James Grooms and wife Katie, and Candace Myers; great-grandchildren, Hunter Myers, Hayden Myers, and Holden Myers.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 23, 2026, at Spring Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Spring Hill UMC, 240 Spring Hill Church Rd., High Point 27262 or Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
