Ellis Eugene Salyers

Ellis Eugene Salyers, 65, of High Point, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence on December 5, 2020.

Eugene was born in Mcdowell, West Virginia to Zepha Revil Mitchell Chaney and Creed Ellis Salyers Jr. on November 19, 1955. Eugene loved watching the NFL and his two favorite teams were the Washington Redskins and the Carolina Panthers. He loved Harley Motorcycle, Jeeps, Saltwater Fishing and was a huge Duke Blue Devils fan. He was a simple man that loved everyone he met. A great evening to him was hanging near a bonfire with family and friends.

Eugene is preceded in death by his mother Zepha Revil Mitchell Chaney, and his father Creed Ellis Salyers Jr, also his brother Wallace Mitchell.

Ellis is survived by his daughter Montana Salyers (Chris), his son Damon Salyers (Amber), his sisters Princess Salyers Denning (Craig) and Rachel Belle Salyers (Truman), his brothers Doyle Salyers (Kathy), Lyndon Salyers, Darvin Salyers, and Cisco Mitchell, his grandchildren Ally, Aiden, Christian, Sloane, Bella, and Leo, he also leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6pm December 11, 2020 at Archdale Assembly of God located at 4405 Archdale Road, Archdale, NC 27263. Pastor Billy Myers will be officiating.
