Edna Marion Taylor, 91, of High Point, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Shannon Gray Nursing and Rehab.

Born March 31, 1929, in Davidson County, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Franklin Marion and the late Daisy Wood Marion. Mrs. Taylor was a retired technician with AT&T and a member of Allendale Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Moore of High Point; brother, Rev. Johnie Marion and wife Patra of Eastwood, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Pat Taylor of High Point; grandchildren, Lynn Taylor, Karen Taylor, Ashley Evans, Gretchen Mallekoote, and Micah Moore; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John Wesley Taylor, Sr., son, John “Skip” Taylor, Jr., and grandson, Trey Taylor.

Private graveside services will be held Tuesday and Abbott’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Younger and Rev. Billy Scism officiating.
