Edna McMickle Hedrick, 81, of High Point, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Born October 29, 1935 in Galax, VA, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Earl Bartlett and the late Ethel Williams Bartlett. Mrs. Hedrick was employed with High Point Regional Hospital and attended the Church of Christ in Winston-Salem.

She is survived by her son, David McMickle of Galax; daughters, Debbie Rhymer and fiancé Carl Jacobs of Sophia, and Patty Hudson and husband Jerry of High Rock Lake; sisters, Burlene Burnett and Arlene Roberts both of Galax; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Hedrick; son, Tommy McMickle; brothers, Raymond Bartlett and Elmer Bartlett.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, July 10, 2017, in the chapel of Floral Garden Park Mausoleum.
