Eavon Dixon Bingham

Eavon Dixon Bingham, 86, of High Point, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at High Point Medical Center.

Born November 22, 1934, in Danville, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late George A. Dixon and the late Nannie Reynolds Dixon.

Eavon is survived by her husband, Harrison Benjamin Bingham of the home; son, Mark Bingham and wife Shelia of Thomasville; daughter, Carolyn Bingham of the home; brother, Arnold Dixon and wife Pat of Thomasville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Timmy Bingham, brother, George Dixon, sisters, Margie Houston and Joyce Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Bales Wesleyan Church with Rev. Carl Pulliam officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM prior to the service at the church.
