Dwight Ray Meredith, 69, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Graybrier Nursing and Rehab.

Born August 16, 1948, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Fred English Meredith and the late Cora Lamb Lanier. Mr. Meredith was a National Guard veteran, a real-estate investor, owner of Meredith Seamless Gutters, and a retired High Point Fire Department Captain. The Town of Trinity reincorporated in 1997, and Mr. Meredith served ten years on the town council until 2007.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Scott Meredith of the home; daughters, Ashley Meredith, and Hillary Meredith both of Greensboro; step-son, Joey Key of Trinity; brother, Fred Meredith and wife Diane of Trinity; sisters, Louise Driver and husband David of Lexington, and Brenda Stoneman and husband Clarence of Trinity; granddaughters, Kaitlin Key and Lindsay Key; and great-grandson, Noah Nunn.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Hope Baptist Church in Sophia with Rev. Steve McSwain and Pastor Rusty Parson officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
