Dwaine Ray Harris

Dwaine Ray Harris, 87, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at High Point Medical Center.

Born January 31, 1933, Siler City, he was a son to the late Neubie Harris and the late Arizonia Mae Dunn Harris.  Mr. Harris was a general contractor, he attended Southside Baptist Church in Greensboro, and was a US Army veteran who served in the Korean War.

He is survived by daughters, Catherine Baity (Mitchell) of High Point and Janice Wines of Kernersville; sisters, Marie Smith of High Point, Shirley Phillips of Trinity, and Betty Jo Wilson of Bear Creek; three grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Barker Harris; and brother, Neubie Harris, Jr.
