Doug Kennedy

William Douglas Kennedy, 78, of Mooresville, passed away, Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Born April 29, 1942, in Santa Monica, California, he was a son of the late William Edwin Kennedy and the late Ann Helen Jones Kennedy. Doug was a veteran of the US Nation Guard and a retired commercial photographer.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Virginia Gray “Ginny” Kennedy formerly of High Point and Greensboro; daughters, Ann Douglas Kennedy, DDS, (Joseph Stanish) of Brooklyn, New York, and Leighton Margaret Kennedy, DMD, (Nathan Horn) of Cornelius; grandchildren, Douglas Nathan Kennedy, and James Margaret Kennedy.

Services will be at a later date.
