Dorothy Elizabeth Peters Candler, 88, of High Point, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at the Meridian Center.

Born February 23, 1930, in Henderson, KY, she was a daughter of the late Earl Peters and the late Mary Wedding Peters. Mrs. Peters was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War, and later was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Candler, Tom Candler, and Lee Candler all of High Point; brother, Bradley Peters; sisters, Bernadine Cox, Erlene Payne and Christine Gonsoroski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton H. Candler.
