Dorothy Laine Mclain

Dorothy Laine McLain, 86, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born December 26, 1935, in Peterburg, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Laine and the late Gladys Spivey Laine. Mrs. McLain was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Laura McLain of High Point, Donna Talbert of Archdale, and Cindy Everhart of High Point; brother, Jimmy Laine of Lexington; grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Everhart, and Rebecca Jean Everhart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas McLain; daughter, Brenda Davis; and sister, Mary Jennel.

Inurnment will be in Floral Garden Park at a later date.
