Doris (Dot) Comer Albertson, 91, of High Point, passed away Friday, October 25, 2019, at High Point Medical Center.

Born June 18, 1928, in Cedar Falls, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Dennis Ervin Comer and the late Mattie Comer. Dot was a retired secretary with Food World.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Albertson of High Point; daughter, Deborah Asbill of High Point; brother, Jimmy Comer of Hickory; sisters, Marie Jones of Pleasant Garden, and Zelma Bowden of Kernersville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Leslie Albertson, Sr.; son, James Leslie Albertson, Jr.; and granddaughter, Dara Asbill.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, October 28, 2019, at Welch Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Dwight Cartner officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
