Donald Joseph Brinkle, Jr., 62, of Thomasville, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Born October 5, 1955, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late Donald Joseph Brinkle, Sr. and the late Fannie Burton Brinkle. Mr. Brinkle was a US Army veteran and retired from Thomasville Furniture.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Whisnant Brinkle of the home; children, Donald Joseph Brinkle, III and wife Amber of Lexington, Amanda Brinkle of Thomasville, and Chris Whisnant of Southmont; brothers, Jimmy Brinkle and wife Dane of Thomasville; sisters, Patty Stilwell and husband Randy of Thomasville, Sandra Lester and husband Bob of Sophia, and Mary Sigmon and husband Dave of Oak Island; grandchildren, Hailie, Hannah, and Autumn.

Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Free Pilgrim Church in Thomasville.

The family will receive friends following the service.
