Don Houston Farlow

Don Houston Farlow, 77, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the Hospice Home of High Point.

He was born March 2, 1947, in High Point, to the late Houston Kendall Farlow and to the late Della Mae Payne Farlow. He later married Marlene Scott Farlow on May 30, 1971.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Farlow and his brother, Kendall Farlow.

Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family. Known to be a quiet man, his greatest joy, in addition to his family, was his Grace Community Fellowship friends that he enjoyed to fellowship with. He was a selfless man that was best found helping others.

Left to cherish his memory: his loving wife Marlene Farlow; son Michael “Mick” Farlow and wife Teri; grandchildren, Houston Farlow, Zachary Farlow and Abigail Farlow; brothers, Keith Farlow and wife Donna and Richard Farlow and wife Lori; sister, Teresa McRae and husband Tom; several nieces and nephews including his nephew that was like a son, Eric Grayson.

The family will gather privately to honor Don’s life.
