Dolores Major Myers, 88, of High Point, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Pennybyrn at Maryfield.

Born November 26, 1930, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late William Major and the late Treva Bales Major. Mrs. Myers was a retired supervisor at Amos Hosiery and Myers Plumbing, and was a member of Covenant Church United Methodist.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn “Lewis” Myers of High Point; Dr. Glenn Myers, Jr. and wife Susan of Mocksville; grandchildren, Jason Myers and wife Jillian, and Robert Myers and wife Courtney; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Lilly, Luke, Lydia, June, and Ford.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Covenant Church United Methodist with Rev. Michelle Foster-Beckerleg and Rev. Darren Alexander officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Garden Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the service.
