Dolores Wontenay Elder, 82, of High Point, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born July 9, 1935 in Oil City, PA, she was a daughter of the late Max Wontenay and the late Alta Arlene Skelton Wontenay.

Ms. Elder is survived by her sons, Thomas Dugan and wife Cathy of High Point, James Dugan and wife Donna of FL, Steven Brooks and wife Libby of FL; daughters, Arlene Burnette and husband Robert of FL; sisters, Jeanine Wickles and husband Milton of FL, and Verma Pavelka of TX; grandchildren, Aimee Morris, Ben Burnette, Jamie Ehlers, Chrystal Bonowicz, and Tommy Dugan; great-grandchildren, Emily Morris, and Tyler Ehlers.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Higginson.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating.
