Dink Osborne

Carl “Dink” William Osborne, 78, of High Point formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Westchester Manor.

Born September 12, 1942, in Surry County, he was a son of the late Carl William Osborne, Sr. and the late Martha Stanley Osborne. Dink, as he was known, was a former race car driver at Bowman Gray and was the retired owner of CW Motors in Winston-Salem.

He is survived by his daughter, Debby Knott of Winston-Salem; sisters, Jean Osborne of Winston-Salem, and Shirley Butts of Wilkesboro; grandson, Zack Knott; and great-grandson, J.B. Knott.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Laverne Osborne.
