Dewey Kenneth Allred

Dewey Kenneth Allred, 85, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born July 20, 1934, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late George Dewey Allred and the late Eva Manuel Allred. Mr. Allred was a US Army veteran and a retired plumber.

He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Rogers of High Point, Patricia Lentz and husband Jeff of High Point, and Degayia Hudson of Salisbury; grandchildren, Chris, Todd, Rodney, Kimberly, Jeff, JJ, Natalie, Courtney, Whitney, and Zack; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-one years, Margurite Hartley Allred; son, LeMonde Price; brother, Grady Allred, and sister, Doris Byrd.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 18, 2020, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Mr. Jeff Lentz and Mr. Donnie Turlington officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Garden Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
