Delbert Stanley Render

Delbert Stanley Render, 70, of Jamestown, NC, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 19, 2022 at High Point Regional Medical Center.

Born, January 23, 1952 in Montgomery County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles Render and the late Dorothy Davis Oldham. Delbert was a down to earth man; he was extremely hard working and would help anyone in need. He was a true family man and loved to spend quality time with his daughters and grandchildren. Delbert was ambitious and strong-willed and used these skills with much determination to achieve goals that he had set for himself.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Derrell Simpson, II.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Monica Richardson (Anthony) of Texas, Danielle Best (Darrius) of Statesville; step-son, Derrell Simpson; grandchildren, Delathian “Deuce” Zimmerman, II, Xya’riah Best, Jaikoda Harrington, Darrius Best, II, Alaura Best, Legend Best; brothers, Melvin “Ham” Oldham, Jeffrey Davis; and beloved life companion and mother of his precious daughter, Gail Simpson.

The family will hold a private celebration of Delbert’s life at a later date.
