Deborah Harlan Steele, 70, of High Point, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 23, 1949, in Hendersonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late J. Burke Harlan and the late Mary Elizabeth Payne Harlan. Debbie was a front-end supervisor with Home Depot.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Michael Terrance Steele; sons, Kenneth Michael Steele and wife Laura of Thomasville; and Christopher Brandon Steele and wife Wendy of High Point; brothers, John Harlan, II and wife Leigh of Concord, and Michael Harlan and wife Diane of Dumfries, VA; grandchildren, Brittney, Jacob, Seth, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, and Cohen.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
